SPIRIT - Industry Partner's Detailed Support

IBM's generous support to SPIRIT includes:

providing FIVE paid internship opportunities for high school teachers who successfully complete the SPIRIT program
providing complementary use of IBM software via the IBM Academic Initiative
providing equipment (including mobile computers) for loan, donation or reduced purchase price for the execution of STEM related activities under the SPIRIT proposal
designating an IBM staff member to serve as an active member of the Industrial Advisory Boards for the two departments actively engaged in this project
providing use of the IBM On Demand Community to draw on strengths in innovation, expertise, reliability, & trust to share IT knowledge & how it is being applied to support the various STEM disciplines, including active participation by senior personnel
